This
is for all our men and women in the armed forces. I chose a blue
background because blue stands for loyalty, red for the heart and
lives that were given for our freedom. There are not enough words
to express the gratitude I have for all of you and those that served
our country in the past. America is so proud. We are so lucky to
have such good men and women fighting for just causes. No greater
love than to lay down their lives for their countrymen, no greater
service, no greater loyalty than these brave young women and men.
We are proud, we salute you. We pray for your accomplished mission,
for your safe return home. I will never forget a military person.
Those that serve, I salute you. God Bless and God Speed You Back

Dearest
Lord: How precious and dear are all the military stationed in war
zones and terrorist territories, throughout the world! Equally as
precious are their loved ones who remain here in the states and daily
wait for word/reports about their well-being. Father, you know each
one intimately!
(Psalm 46-9)
Lord, be their refuge, their strength, their very present help in
times of trouble!
The Lord of Hosts is with them, the God of Jacob is their refuge!Lord,
You who make wars cease to the end of the earth, we implore You,
to do a quick work in Iraq and surrounding territories. As You protected
the Israelites who traveled with Moses through the wilderness journey,
protect these dearly loved young people and their military commanders
with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night! Give
them spiritual insight and divine wisdom to make choices that will
overcome the enemy and bring swift victory! We praise You, Lord,
for miraculous intervention on behalf of our nation and our troops,
in Jesus Name, Amen!

Supporting
soldiers isn't about politics
My picture appeared next to the letter
"Support bringing our troops home" (June 20), a picture
of a mother whose son served more than 400 days in a combat zone,
holding a sign asking Americans to "Support Our Troops."
I am not pro-war or anti-war, but pro-soldier. Political views
have no place in showing support for our troops or their families.
I am out there, as are other mothers, to remind our communities
that we have troops
serving in combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Our soldiers and veterans need to know
that we are behind them, that we acknowledge their service, their
dedication and their enormous sacrifice. A mother does not want
to send her child to war, but when duty calls, we stand behind
them unconditionally.
We pray that they come home soon, safe
to the families who love them and to their communities that support
them.
Thank you to all veterans. God bless America, God bless our troops!

To my first born son, Vicente Julian
Padilla, I am very proud to see the man that you have become. I
sent you into the Marine Corps a boy and within weeks, I got back
a man. It was hard to deal with at first, but change had to come
sometime. As a soldier you have endured a lot, from freezing cold
to sizzling heat, from starving hunger to cracked lips thirst, from
hours of not sleeping to not breathing due to sandstorms, from memories
of home to the fright of having a close call of death. All this,
I admire of you. You became a man before your time. Today, you stand
straight and proud. Thank you. Thanks to you and to all soldiers
who have gone through all the bad things to give us our liberties.
God is keeping his eyes on soldiers and is protecting them. The
arms of prayer are around you all the time. Feel them and embrace
them when you feel you need them. You and all the soldiers are in
our prayers always. We love you, CPL. Vicente Julian Padilla, USMC,
3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, Communications Platoon, H & S Company,
Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
All our love, Vicente, Martha, Elizabeth, Gerardo, and your dog
Sweetpea.

Psalm
91
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will
rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will
say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God,
in whom I trust." Surely he will save you from the fowler's
snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his
feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness
will be your shield and rampart.
You
will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that
destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand
at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only
observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If
you make the Most High your dwelling even the LORD, who is
my refuge-then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near
your tent.
For
he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your
ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not
strike your foot against a stone.
You
will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great
lion and the serpent. "Because he loves me," says the
LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges
my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be
with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long
life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation.
Amen

To my son:
Christopher Michael Romero
U.S. Air Force Special Forces
Son, You left
on Tuesday February 14, 2006 to a land
that is like another planet filled with people that want you dead
because you were born in America. How do I begin to understand that.
I felt about this day like I did when you came in to this world
six weeks premature and sickly," Dear Lord please don't take
him from me". In two days I have been reminded that just as
the Lord is here with me he is there in Iraq with you, Those are
comforting words to a mother who had lost her faith and desperately
needed to regain it, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Lord Jesus. Today
there was some peace in my soul and my heart. I only cried once
today. That beleive me is a record compared to the last few
days. I love you son with all of my heart and soul and though before
you left Modesto things were rocky and I feared your future I see
now you are a man of honor, strength, and courage. I am so proud
of you. I do not support this war as you know, I adhore this war..
But! I support you and every man and woman who is fighting in it.
I have been counseled to keep Psalm 91 close to me and to read it
daily for you as well as myself. I am enclosing this in this message.
I love you my sweetheart, I too count the days on the calendar like
other mothers I have them literally written on it.
Love Mom- MOO and Clyde (our Dog)

To
all the brave soldiers fighting for our freedom and safety. I wrote
this poem just for all of you Thank you and God Bless each and every
one of you and keep you safe from harm. My name is Connie Cooper,
I have no family fighting for our country but this will br tribute
to you families that do. Here is the poem.
FIGHTING FOR THE COUNTRY FOR WHICH I STAND
I dig my foxhole each nifgt
And try to get some rest
Although sleep eludes me
I do not fear for my death.
If I should die in combat
It would be for a special cause
For I would join the ones gone on before me
When they fought and their lives was lost.
I know our GOD is with me
For death I fear naught
For each night I pray
That our enemy may be caught.
There is no way to describe
The filth,the sickness and death
Of all the people that live in poverty
While Hussin lived in wealth.
So GOD please hear my pleas
Just so my story may be told
So the truth be remembered
By the youngest to the very old.
Join me my fellow Americans
That our land of the beautiful and the free
Lets pray it will always remain that way
That our safety will always be.
A SPECIAL PRAYER TO OUR TROOPS
GOD bless and protect our troops that are fighting for our country.
For putting their lives on the line that ours may be saved. Please
GOD let this war be over and bring our troops home to be with their
families. The Arabs have always fought for hundreds of years for they
care not about killing their own kind. They brainwash their people
to do their killing for them because they are cowards and hide behind
woman and children. They worship Allah who is not GOD. We have only
one GOD. Will we really acommplish what we went over there to do.
So many hate us there so I beg of you GOD please bring our soldiers
home. Thank You For Listening God It is all in your hands what is
the answer to this war. AMEN
HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU ALL

I'm a retired soldier who served our country
in three wars and it warmed
this old heart to see and hear the sincere expressions of love and
support
for the men and women who have taken the fight to the folks who
would
destroy us. I join Denzel Washngton and all the other true patriots
in
wishing them great success in battle and the most joyous of homecomings
when
the job is done.

THE HERO'S OF OUR COUNTRY
The night is extremely long
As I stand guard against the enemy
I know not how long I can hold on
For my bidy grows tired and weary.
There is no peace and no time to rest
We must not let our defenses down
For the war rages on night and day
With the stench of death all around.
Why do we fiight a war we cannot win
For the Arabs have fought each other many a year
They will never stop this endless war
They kill e ach other so death they do not fear.
I know our soldiers all over the world
Fight for the freedom of our country
They fight with courage and stamina
But is there any stopping the enemy.
Pray for our troops night and day
Pray that they will soon be on American ground
Open your hearts and let GOD in
Pray that worldly peace will be found. Amen By Connie Cooper
HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU ALL

GOD's HAND
Another day like so many others
Has Americans blood pouring on Iraqi sand
So many wounded and so many lives lost
So many led to Heaven by GOD's hand.
How many do we have to sacrifice
To satisfy this political war
We can not win against the Arabs for
They just keep coming back for more.
They sacrifice their own women and children
Arming them with bombs and other war fare
Using them for their o wn cowardness
Using them for their lives they do not care.
The militia have fought for hundreds of years
They will not allow an Iraqi government to be formed
Thet abhor our troops interfering there
And they will keep murdering them as they have warned.
Please bring our troops home to their families
But GOD bless them for which they stand
They are brave and strong and will keep fighting
Till GOD leads them out by his hand.
Our children are growing up without a parent
Having to face life the best they can
But knowing thier parent died a hero
And was lead out by GOD's hand.
They know they have to be strong
But some are still to young to understand
As they grow older and are told what happened
Please GOD give them strength and lead them by their hand.
GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS AND KEEP THEM SAFE WHERE YOU
WON'T HAVE TO LEAD THEM AWAY BY YOUR HAND. Written by Connie Cooper
from Texas
HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU ALL

My son returns from Iraq
Hello everyone. I hope all is well with everyone.
I would like everyone to know that my Marine son, Vicente Julian
Padilla, is
back from Iraq. His unit, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, "America's
Battalion", has safely arrived. Thank God he is finally in
the U.S.
All is not well with my son, but God will prevail and will help
cure him. Anyway, he is at his base in Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii
and will return to Modesto around November 10th. He is currently
going through debriefing, psychiatric and medical treatments. All
of which are required upon his return.
In my son's name, I thank you all for all the support he
received while in Iraq. Thank you for the care packages
and letters that he received. He said that without the support,
it would have made it a living hell.
From our family, Thank you. You all came through at a time
when we badly needed support. God Bless you all.
Here are some pictures of his arrival at base.

Sweetpea.

I received
a word from God. Please join me and the body of Christ in praying
for our troops according to Joshua chapters 1&2 That are uniformed
men and women be "Strong and of a good courage; be not afraid,
neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever
thou goest. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon
that have I given unto you."
They know that the Lord hath given you the
land, and that your terror is fallen upon them, and that all the
inhabitants of the land faint because of you. Their hearts did melt
neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of
you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in the
Earth beneath.

This message goes out to all our brave
troops all over the world.
I live in a small town in southern Minnesota
called Hollandale. Last fall a couple of friends and myself started
a thing called Motor Madness. We had a small car show, played
car football and held a mud bog for local 4x4 truck lovers.
Myself and my son-in-law both entered the
car football. We painted our cars to match as we entered as a team.
(each team consists of two cars.) But we also painted them especially
for all you brave men and women fighting
so that we have the freedom to hold this event every year to come!!
Here are a couple of pictures of our cars.
We love you all and pray for all of you every day!!!
THANK YOU!!!
